This morning, I was inspired by Gina’s Blended Breakfast post and decided to whip up something of my own.

making breakfast smoothie

I used:

1 cup frozen Blueberries

1 handful Spinach

1/2 cup fresh Blueberries

2 cups Almond Milk

1 tbsp Almond Butter

blueberry spinach smoothie all blended up

    Organic Frozen Strawberries (Whole Foods)

    How to make the drink

    (In a vitamixer or a regular blender)

    1 heaping tablespoon of Earth

    1 heaping tablespoon of Green SuperFood

    2 tablespoons of Hemp Seeds

    2 tablespoons of raw almond butter

    1 tablespoon Raw Honey

    5 frozen strawberries

    ½ to ¾ cup of frozen blueberries (I prefer ¾)

    Rice milk fill to the 2 cup level on the blender

    Blend away. It will be very thick. Almost like frozen yogurt.
