“Tea … is a religion of the art of life.”
― Kakuzō OkakuraThe Book of Tea

I’ve been making my own herbal tea for several years now. I find the process to be really gratifying. It feels like art – combining fragrant, healing ingredients to make a beautiful healing concoction your body will greatly appreciate. I shared one of my many herbal tea recipes here last year - this one involving dried herbal blossoms and was a hit with dear ones. The tea itself is lovely to look at with all of the colorful blossoms combined, and the flavor is light and refreshing.

So I thought it might be nice to show you how I make my herbal flower teas. This one is full of incredible ingredients.

I purchased all of the ingredients from Mountain Rose Herbs. Here’s a breakdown:

Calendula Blossoms

Rose Petals

Lemon Peel

Heather Flowers

Chamomile Blossoms

Jasmine Flowers

Lavender Buds

Red Clover

Dandelion Leaf

    Hi Elsie,
You can play with it. I used about 1-2 tbsp each of the herbs to make a big batch of tea.
